Here’s a video (in two parts) of a recent keynote presentation I gave at the Mine Manager’s Show in the Hunter Valley, NSW. The presentation is entitled – “In the Quest for Zero Harm, are we Managing What Matters Least?”
I argued this point with a Corporate Safety Manager the other day – he came back with “Nothing is Impossible” but was really pissed off when I pointed out that nothing was another word for zero!
Jamie, great presentation. I haven’t been a fan of the Zero Harm concept since I first heard it in the 1990’s – presented by BHP at a safety conference. I particularly liked your alternative use of the ubiquetous triangle – some nice lateral thinking. Keep up the good work.
